DISTINGUISHED UNIT WITH HONORS

NJROTC Unit, Port Angeles High School (Roughrider Company) was formed in 1996. It is offered at Port Angeles High School during all class periods. Roughrider Company works under the administration of the Port Angeles School District as well as the United States Navy. The NJROTC program was established in 1964 by act of Congress. The program's mission is to instill in students in United States secondary educational institutions the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment.
