WELCOME!
You've reached the official website of our Bolivian journey for 2007. Our purpose is to keep you informed about the daily adventures while delivering quilts and clothing to orphans in Bolivia. Many of you have contributed incredible amounts of time and energy toward this project, and we hope to help complete the circle of love and friendship.

THE PROJECT
Part 1: Social Responsibility workshops are held in elementary schools. Kids learn about differences in wealth in the cultures of Bolivia and the United States. They become humanitarian artists by drawing their portrait on cloth.
Part 2: Building Community comes next by giving the children's cloth to local quilters. Quilts are made, then brought back to the schools to celebrate and display.
Part 3: The quilts are taken to Bolivia and placed in orphanages with the message that children in the United States have not forgotten these abandoned children. We want to cover them in our finest expression of love, a handmade quilt.
Part 4: Bringing the two cultures together. While on our trip, we will communicate with schools and communities in the U.S. to share with them Bolivian culture and the impact these quilts have on the children.
