About the Director

Kelly Lovall graduated from Western Washington University with a major in Theatre Arts and a minor in English. She has a double emphasis in acting and directing. She has spent fifteen years immersed in community and college theatre, directing over 15 plays and acting in 13. Kelly has acted most recently at the Key City Playhouse in Port Townsend where she took on the roles of 'Margorie' in Extremities and 'JoAnn' in Ladies of the Alamo. Currently, she holds a position on the Board of Directors of Port Angeles Light Opera Association where she provides input in show selection, casting, promotion, production and the budget. She teaches the Summer Theatre Camp through the Port Angeles YMCA, which includes two public performances, and during the fall quarter at Peninsula Community College, Kelly team teaches an acting series that prepares people for the stage. She just moved to Port Angeles three years ago, is married and has two children – a boy and a girl.
