5D Mon- Tue WU      Powerpoint for the week

Yes, you have long periods, twice this week and I wouldn't want you bored so I will not give a 30 point test at the end of the week but ask that you use your time wisely.  So, a terrific project to show what you know is to design a powerpoint for the week to help demonstrate something you find interesting in mathematics.  Yes -- you can be creative.  Pick your own topic as long as it is related to math and you talk about mathematics in your powerpoint.  Pick a topic that is of interest.  Some ideas are listed below.  I require only the following:

• Your name and topic should be on the first slide.
• You need to have a total of 6 or more slides with a graphic or picture on at least one slide.
• You need to describe some mathematics in at least 2 slides.
• You should print this powerpoint in handouts (9/page) for credit

This is a great opportunity to show me what you know in math, what you think is interesting, to find something that connects to math.  It is very open ended and should be your opportunity to be creative.  Give it a try.
