JP: Project for your JP journal: Buffon's Needles for Pi
You are going to estimate pi by doing a needle drop onto a sheet with parallel lines (I will demonstrate this on Tuesday).
Pi = 2 times the number of drops divided by the number of hits
An example of the mathematics of a needle drop is shown below.
In your JP file, complete the following information for 3 needle drop experiments:
