Wally Seelye -- Intervention Specialist & At Risk Guidance Counselor

Hi!  My name is Wally Seelye and I'm the Intervention Specialist and At Risk Guidance Counselor.  I work mainly with students who are struggling with problems fitting in at PAHS, those who have either a family member or friend who is having problems with drugs or alcohol use or are having a problem themselves.  The programs I am responsible for are confidential and open to all students.  I do groups on Anger Management, Recovery, Relapse Prevention, Insight Education, Academic Issues and Children of Addiction.  I come to PAHS in 1996 from Cape Flattery School District (Clallam Bay / Sekiu area).  I am a graduate of the Human Services program at Western Washington University.  I have a wife, Nancy and have been married for 35 years in May.  We have two sons aged 32 and 20.  I like fishing, camping, hiking, working out, playing music on my guitar and singing in a choir.  I am a member of the Port Angeles Community Chorus and the Choir at the First Methodist Church.
