The WASL
(Washington Assessment of Student Learning) is required for ALL 10th graders.
ALL
STUDENTS ENROLLED IN 10TH GRADE
must take the Washington Assessment of Student Learning. We will have a special
schedule on four test days in April for the language arts and math portions of
the test. Science and communications will be given during class periods on set
days.

be announced at a later date. WASL testing is required April 23-May 11 for the
year 2001.

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS: You
are assigned to a specific room for all tests. Be sure to report right on time
These are untimed tests. Students may take as long as they need to finish each
test. Students who need to work beyond the tell will relocate in the guidance
center to finish the test.
THINGS
YOU SHOULD BRING TO TEST SESSIONS
Not all tests will take the entire time. Whatever time is left over will be used as a
study hall. You should plan to stay at school in the testing room on each test
day.
You
will not be able to leave the test room once testing begins each day, so bring

is very important that you do your best work on these tests so that scores
accurately reflect your ability. Come prepared to think hard and work carefully!
