WHAT DO I NEED TO ENTER?

Machine Technology I   Machine Technology II and III
Senior, Junior, or Sophomore  Senior, or Junior
Machine Technology I, Welding I, or Auto Mechanics.

WHAT CREDENTIALS WILL I EARN?

Students completing Machine Technology II or III will receive a certificate of completion and will have entry-level skills to enter the job market or go on to further training. They also may apply half a credit toward graduation requirements in math.

 WHO WILL TEACH ME?

MICHAEL R. FRICK, Machine Technology Teacher, was a U.S. Navy machinist for four years and served a three-year apprenticeship at Crescent Machine Works in Spokane. He has been a Corporate member of Angeles Machine Works as a machinist and welder. He has been teaching at Port Angeles High School since 1982.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?

Machine Technology I runs one hour a day for two periods, for one semester.

Machine Technology II & III are each three hours a day for a year. The Machine Technology II&III class is for juniors and seniors and is a permission only program.
