Math Practice Problems for Fifth Grade in Logic

 

5L-10) Answer: CPTnBTk / TkTnCPB / PTkBTnC / BCPTkTn / TnBTkCP

Tod and Pat set up the display case of toys for sale. The display case had 5 columns and 5 rows. They put 5 cars, 5 planes, 5 trains, 5 trucks, and 5 boats in the case. The store manager told them to be sure to have 5 different things in each column and each row. Blaine, Trevor; Deanna, and Ann all love animals and they each have one of these animals for a pet: a snake, a llama, a chicken, and a goat. Blaine hates snakes. Deanna has a pet that can carry a pack, and Trevor likes fresh eggs for breakfast. Bob, Tye, Maria, James, and Rick are all different ages. Maria is older than Bob and younger than Tye. James is older than Tye. Rick is older than Bob and younger than Maria. Derek's brother does no use his mouth when playing his instrument. One of Derek's sisters plays the clarinet. Lisa is glad she will never have to march in a parade playing her instrument.
