2007/2008 Fun Run Fundraiser

Stevens Middle School opened Friday the 21 with an assembly telling the students about how the school is hosting a Fun Run activity. This event is going from Monday September, 24 through Monday October, 8. The Fun Run itself is Friday October, 5; 2007.The maximum time you can run is 30 Minutes.

Students should be asking family and friends to give them a pledge for the Fun Run. A pledge can be as little $5.00 and that would be about 16 cents a minute. There is no maximum amount of money a student can bring in. We do not want students going door to door to strangers unless they have a parent or guardian with them. For every $5 you get a ticket put in the bucket with your name on it.

The student bringing in the most money gets to be the Principle for a day and the student coming in second gets to be the Vice Principle for a day. Some of the prizes are 6-8 different Board games of your choice, MP3 player, Boom Box, Digital Camera, Remote controlled Helicopter, $15 I-tunes gift cards, Art package, School Supplies, Movie Package, Sports Package, Handheld video games, 1GB memory stick, lava lamp, and a land line phone. All students bringing in a minimum of $20 gets a free pass the school dance. If students generate $15,000 3 ASB officers and one student get to PIE Mr.Lisk in the face. If we generate $16,000 we also get to PIE Mrs.Geobol in the face.

Teachers and students have come up with some ideas for competitions between the A and B teams. Also another idea is that the school could have class competitions and prize type things for the wining classes.
