1st Annual Cheer for a Cure October 27,2007 Vern Burton Community Center 6 to 8pm Proceeds this year go to: “Kim and Kaylee Springfield”

The Future Riders Cheerleaders (with the city of Port Angeles Recreation) Are having there first annual Cheer for a Cure! We will e doing a performance for our guests, teaching some cheers to our “little” guests, and having some fun dancing to some of our most favorite songs like; Hokey Pokey, the Chicken dance, If your happy and you know it, and a few more. This will be a good night to have fun and be doing it for a good cause. There will be raffle tickets, hot dogs, and soda being sold the cancer funds. This year, cheerleaders have chosen for the proceeds to go to Kim and Kaylee Springfield who are facing some very difficult times with Kim’s cancer and Kaylee’s recent diagnosis of Leukemia.

The suggested donation is 5$ per person at the door. Little ones are welcome, parents and grandparents can teach them how to do each of the dances for the songs. The raffle tickets will be for fun prizes like, Gift Certificates, T-shirts, Toys and many more awesome prizes. Cheer for Cure magnets will also be sold at the event.

Please come to share in the fun, but most importantly to help the Springfield Family and the cheer for a Cure event to be successful. We hope we can start off well and meat our goal to raise $500 for the Springfield family. Thanks for your support. Please help Cheer for a Cure!
