The spirit assembly on Friday brought the whole Stevens school together. Classes were divided into four teams with their own names and their own t-shirt colors. The colors were blue, orange, yellow, purple and bright lime-green.

Spirit is an important theme at our school. The assembly celebrated the hard work students did during first quarter, and honored students of the month.

There were float contests, fishing contests, and teasing contests. There were spirit songs and the theme song for the Rebel Gulls team was a tune sung by Justin Timberlake.

The four teams were the Rebel Gulls, Orange Crush, Skittles, and The Jokers. The Jokers won the spirit contest.

Over all the school had a lot or fun. A special thank you to the jazz band who played at the assembly.
