Magazine Drive

Magazine Drive began on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 with postcards. Students who fill out the 10 postcards by Friday, September 19, 2008 will get a magic wallet with prizes in it such as iTunes gift cards, passes to the dance, and many more. There is also a crack the code card in each one. The Crack the Code is guessing the combination to a safe. If a student cracks the code they win $250. On Monday, September 22, 2008 there will be an am assembly to kick off the magazine drive.

The first turn in day is Friday, September 26, 2008. For every subscription order on any of the turn in days, you get a chance to crack the code. For 5 orders you get a voice recorder pen. For 10 orders you get a mini safe. The second turn in day is Friday October 3, 2008. For 5 orders you get an ice cream bingo party. For 10 orders you get a voice recorder pen. For 15 orders you get a mini safe.

The final turn in day will be Thursday, October 9, 2008. The class to turn in the most orders will get a chicken race and a 5 lb. bar. By buying magazines through the school, the school will receive 40% of the subscription price.
