As you may already know there are new ASB officers for this year. A new President, Vice President's, Secretary's, and treasurer's.
This group of individuals are responsible for taking care of our school budget.
This means that they decide what we spend our school money on and what we don’t spend it on. For example, we are having spirit asseblies, and we are going to get spirit shirts. If at an ASB meeting one of the classroom representatives comes up with the idea to pick the color of them, then they would vote on it to decide whether or not they want to have that color, or colors', but ultimately the treasures decision on what they purchase.
In addition to taking care of the budget our secretary is in charge of recording the meetings such as taking notes of what happens at the meeting and also passing out the notes from the meeting before. Finally it is the president and vice president’s job to make sure everything runs smoothly.
