The American Red Cross will be sponsoring a Babysitter’s Training for youth ages 11 – 15 on

Saturday, November 14th from 9:00am – 4:00pm

The class fee is $30.00. Additional information is available across from Student Services.

A pair of prescription glasses has been lost. They are blackish-purple on the outside and greenish-yellow on the inside. Please bring them to Student Services if you have found them.

The Harlem Ambassadors will be here on Saturday, November 7th to play PASD staff, including Mr. Gunderson, Mrs. Gunderson, Mr. Mills, Mr. Steinman and Mr. Whiteman.

The event starts at 7 pm and tickets are available by contacting Mr. Steinman, Mrs. Knowles or any girl’s basketball or Camp Fire member here at Stevens.

Tickets will also be on sale during lunch from November 2nd – 6th. Ticket prices and seating varies, so get your seats now!

Homework Club will now be held on Wednesday mornings from 7:45am – 9:15am in the gym.

If you have you been absent or if are you tardy, Student Services is the place you need to go first! Bring your note to Student Services and you will be given a pass to be admitted to class.

This is a reminder that you must have a pass to be in the building or to use the phone during lunch.

******************

The Student Services phone may be used:

BEFORE school,

AFTER school,

and DURING YOUR LUNCH, with a pass.



You MAY NOT use the phone:

BETWEEN classes or

DURING class without a pass from your teacher.

New cell phone policy effective October 23, 2009:



Electronics: Policy has been changed slightly to ensure personal phones are safe at school.

Please remember the following:

§ IPODS and similar electronic entertainment devices are not to be used once school starts.

§ Once school starts, students may have their cell phone on them, but it must be turned off. They are not to be used or seen again during the school day, including lunch. This means they are not to be used for making calls or for anything else.

o The first time this rule is broken, the phone is returned to a parent/guardian only.

o The second time, the phone is returned to a parent/guardian only.

o The third time, the student loses the privilege of having a cell phone at school.


Phones are available for student use at school at designated times and for emergencies.

HOMEWORK CLUB – Monday through Thursday 3:15 – 4:00 in the library. Wednesday mornings 7:45 – 9:15 in the gym.


MEDIA CLUB – each morning in room #21 from 7:50-8:30am to broadcast SNN
