Grades

All language arts students will receive grades based on in class work, spelling and vocabulary lessons (for which time is given in class), vocabulary tests, and the outside reading requirement.
Math grades are based on Accelerated Math mastered objectives, Problems of the Week (POWs), and quizzes.

WASL is an important evaluation tool by which all students in the state are evaluated.  The final writing projects in all language arts classes will be assessed using the same rubric.  Each piece gets two scores.  The first on a scale of 0-4 is on content, while the second is on conventions 0-2.  Below you can link to pdf files that show anchor  papers and  how they were graded.
